Hilton Named to Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® List for Third Consecutive Year

MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today received further recognition for its outstanding workplace, earning a ranking of 33 on the 2018 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list. This marks the third consecutive year Hilton has been included on the United States list, and further reinforces the company's global reputation as a Top 10 World's Best Workplace by Great Place to Work.

Today's recognition is a testament to Hilton's key to success: its 380,000 Team Members around the world. In July, Hilton expanded its "people framework" with the launch of Thrive@Hilton, which aims to transform the way its people think about work. Thrive@Hilton is driving more mindful leadership so Team Members can benefit from tools and techniques to manage digital overload, sustain performance, and most importantly, be their authentic selves.

"At Hilton, our Team Members create truly exceptional experiences for millions of guests each year. They're the heart and soul of everything we do, and we're committed to showing them the same hospitality they put out into the world," said Christopher J. Nassetta, president and CEO, Hilton. "Through Thrive@Hilton, we're able to take this commitment to a new level by investing even more in helping our Team Members be at their best every day - in body, mind and spirit."

Thrive@Hilton is the banner under which all of Hilton's best-in-class people programs exist, including leadership and career development, GED assistance and sabbaticals. Hilton also offers industry-leading benefits such as parental leaveadoption assistance, exclusive travel perks and a variety of volunteer programs supporting Hilton's corporate responsibility mission.

Thrive@Hilton's focus on continuous improvement has inspired many new workplace innovations during the past year. These include improved common areas, high-tech recruitment and training, new performance-geared wardrobes, and a focus on enhancing the Team Member experience.

"We are very proud to once again be named one of the great places to work in the U.S.," said Matthew W. Schuyler, global chief human resource officer, Hilton. "By creating opportunities for our Team Members to thrive, collaborate and carry forth our mission, Hilton will remain at the forefront of innovation, and relevant to the workforce of tomorrow. How we bring our people programs to life at Hilton are testament to this."

This ongoing focus on Team Members is the foundation of Hilton's continued business success. Over the years, the company's enhanced resources have corresponded with rising guest satisfaction scores and parallel growth in Hilton's most loyal customer base. In 2016, Hilton welcomed 9 million new members to its Hilton Honors program, and over 11 million guests joined in 2017. Greater guest satisfaction and loyalty has in turn, led to market expansion with more than one new Hilton property opened around the world per day in 2017.

The 2018 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For®  list is based on survey responses from more than 310,000 employees rating their workplace culture on 50-plus elements. These include trust in managers, compensation, fairness, camaraderie and workplace traits linked to innovation. The ranking accounted for a range of employee experiences including women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, experienced Team Members, and disabled employees. Click here to see the full list.
