Adding another skyscraper to the already towering skyline Dubai has launched the world’s tallest hotel with an impressive 75 floors.

It is one metre taller than the previous record holder, the JW Mariott Marqui located in Dubai. The Gevora Hotel is 356 metres tall and has 528 rooms.

Situated next to the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, which at 333 metres was the tallest hotel before the launch of JW Marriot Marquis.

Gevora Hotel solid gold revolving doors will welcome the guests. There will be four health clubs and two luxury restaurants in the 75-floor all-gold hotel which is  50 metres taller than the Shard in London and 56 metres taller than the Eiffel Tower.

Dubai also has the world’s tallest building  standing at 828 metres, almost nine times higher than Big Ben.

Dubai is hopes to attract 20 million tourists every year by 2020 and the desert city already has multiple resorts, beaches, marina and shopping malls along with an indoor ski resort.
