European Waterways 2018 Prices & 10% Off Early Booking on Hotel Barges

European Waterways has announced its pricing schedule for the 2018 season and is offering 10% off for booking early on many of its luxury hotel barges cruising the inland waterways of Europe. The offer applies to whole-boat charter bookings in France, for barges cruising in Burgundy, the Canal du Midi, Gascony, and the Upper Loire. Other eligible barges include La Bella Vita in Italy and Scottish Highlander in Scotland on the Caledonian Canal. The offer is also good on both cabin and whole-boat charters for select departures on the Panache during the Spring ‘tulip’ season in Holland. Bookings must be made before September 15 to be eligible.
“It’s not just ‘Paris in the Spring’ but the whole of Europe that comes alive with the arrival of warmer weather,” said Derek Banks, managing director for European Waterways.

“Whether it’s the dazzling tulip fields of Holland or the vibrant landscape of world-class vineyards in Burgundy, visitors enjoy great sightseeing opportunities that are perfectly ‘kissed’ by a warm Spring sun.”
With the 10% off special, typical savings include the 12-passenger Panache on its March and April 2018 departures. With prices starting at $4,815, guests save $535 per person off the regular $5,350 price. Whole-boat charter prices on the Panache start at $52,200, a saving of $5,800 off the $58,000 price. The 8-passenger L’Art de Vivre, cruising the lush countryside of Burgundy on the Canal du Nivernais, offers prices starting at $30,150 for whole-boat charters, a saving of $3,350. On the Canal du Midi in Southwest France, charters on the 8-passenger Anjodi start at $31,500, a saving of $3,500. Meanwhile, the 8-passenger Scottish Highlander, cruising the Caledonian Canal in Scotland, offers savings of $3,250 off whole-boat charters, with prices starting at $29,250.
Prices are all-inclusive, with cruises featuring an attentive crew, daily excursions, including wine tastings and sightseeing, and all gourmet meals prepared by an onboard master chef, using fresh, local ingredients. Some cruises also feature onboard entertainment by local performers, as well as demonstrations by local craftmen.
“In addition to the great sightseeing weather, Spring is the best time to ‘see it all first’ before the crowds arrive at the popular attractions in Europe,” said Banks. “Booking early can also get you the perfect hotel barge at the perfect time, in your most wanted region.”
