OneJet announces additional nonstop destinations from Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - OneJet, the air transportation network that provides increased access to nonstop travel in small and medium size markets, joined  aviation officials and representatives of Greater Louisville Inc. to announce increased service from Louisville, while marking OneJet's inaugural flight from Pittsburgh. OneJet will begin offering increased flights options from Louisville, on routes that have been specifically designed to meet the needs of some of Louisville's largest corporate employers.

Following the announcement of nonstop service to Pittsburgh earlier this year, OneJet announced today the opening of two additional routes from Louisville:

- Raleigh, North Carolina service will begin on October 17
- Kansas City, Missouri service will begin on October 24th

The expanding partnership comes alongside investment made by local corporate leadership, including Humana Inc., and follows the Company's recent flagship partnership announced with the city of Pittsburgh.

Beginning on September 12th, seats will be available for sale for service from Louisville to Raleigh and Kansas City, subject to customary Department of Transportation approvals. OneJet, which already serves Pittsburgh from Louisville, will announce additional destinations later this year.

"It's clear that there's strong demand for nonstop air travel in the Louisville market," Matthew Maguire, CEO of OneJet said. "OneJet is pleased to provide increased access and convenience for the region's business travelers to some of the top demanded destinations by local corporate employers."

Former U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Ray LaHood, a senior advisor of the OneJet program, stated: "Today's announcement reflects decisive action by Louisville's civic and corporate leadership to secure service that will benefit Kentucky's business travelers and several of its largest corporate employers. Through increasing nonstop connectivity, OneJet service provides an important economic tool for communities such as Louisville and we look forward to being part of the city's continued growth."

All routes are subject to customary DOT approval.
