Last Thursday saw over 400 travel agents and 65 exhibitors gather under the wings of Concorde at Manchester Airport’s MAGnificent travel agent event that saw the UK’s third largest airport launch an incentive to win a MINI One car.
The MAGnificent incentive has over 175 prizes to be won worth over £50,000, with the grand prize being a MINI One car. Other great prizes include flights, holidays, bottles of champagne, plus many more. Open to all travel agents, it is live now until 28th February 2017 and one booking out of Manchester Airport equals one entry. The more agents book, the more chances they have to enter.
As well as launching the incentive, the airport’s Escape Lounge, Car Park and £1bn transformation programme teams were on hand to let agents know about all the great services on offer and positive changes to come over the next decade.
A selection of Manchester Airport’s 70 plus airlines and tourist boards were also in attendance to showcase the breadth of offering available from the UK’s Global Gateway for the North.

“We hope they found it useful and that they will continue to think of Manchester Airport when selling holidays to their clients.”Prizes on the night included a £500 fancy dress competition, which went to Julie Mellor from Travel Counsellors. Plus Declan Bulmer, Tinkeka Owen and Daniel Furness all won £500 each in a lucky passport draw.
