ATLANTA—The Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Suites here has completed a refresh of its 224 suites. Rhode Island-based hospitality interior design firm DiLeonardo was enlisted to lead the makeover project, which began in February and concluded earlier this month.
The design concept is based on characteristics of the city, such as the local foliage and tree canopies, according to the company. “The new design concept redefines the hotel in a way that contributes to the already established ‘city in a forest’ feeling that most people come to love when visiting Atlanta. The intent is that the guest will experience the same sense of escape that the natural surroundings allow,” said Jordan Batty, senior designer, DiLeonardo.
Each of the property’s 520-sq.-ft. suites offers a balcony, separate bath and shower, Serta mattress, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. The suites are outfitted with a 42-in. HDTV in the bedroom and a 49-in. HDTV in the living room. Select suites offer a Whirlpool tub and an extra bed to accommodate up to six people per suite.
Operated by TPG Hotels & Resorts, the hotel is located within the business district and close to downtown. The property is a short distance from local attractions such as the CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park and Lenox Square Mall.
