GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - The Embraer Legacy 600 is the first business jet to enter Geneva-based Sparfell International Lease Corporation’s fleet, bringing Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance & Insurance model (ACMI) to business aviation. The preflown aircraft features a refurbished interior, new exterior paint, upgraded Wi-Fi capability and additional navigation features such as ADS-B Out. It will start operating in the coming weeks.
“We are glad to deliver this outstanding aircraft that launched Embraer Executive Jets’ journey. The Legacy 600 combines operational flexibility and cabin comfort in a proven platform that surpasses the highest level of reliability,” said Marco Tulio Pellegrini, President & CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. “The market is searching for new models of business jet utilization, and Sparfell & Partners is bringing an alternative solution for the segment. We are looking forward to future collaborations between SILC and Embraer. ”
Delivering over 99% dispatch reliability, the Legacy 600 has exceptional capabilities and remarkable economy. The super-midsize aircraft can accommodate up to 13 passengers in a three-zone largest-in-class cabin. It also has the largest lavatory and the largest in-flight-accessible baggage compartment in the segment. These features, coupled with proven technology, made the Legacy 600 a perfect choice to meet SILC’s clients’ expectations and needs.
“Leading the industry to a new era, the SILC solution aims to meet a new market demand by offering more flexibility, discretion and cost-efficiency as an alternative to regular fractional ownership, charter services or direct aircraft ownership,” said Philip Queffelec, Chairman of Sparfell & Partners Limited. “For years, ACMI has been established as the best-practice leasing model used in commercial aviation. For the first time, this practice has been developed and adapted to business aviation.”
