Agreement Signed For Bulgari Hotel in Moscow

MOSCOW—Bulgari Hotels and Resorts has signed an agreement with Russian investor Alexey Bogachev to bring the luxury hospitality brand here.

Moscow-based real estate development company Storm Properties is the developer of the project. The Bulgari Hotel is expected to open here in 2019. According to Marriott International, the hotel will stand as the world's seventh Bulgari Hotel, following the opening of Milan in 2004, Bali in 2006, London in 2012 and the Shanghai, Beijing and Dubai Hotels anticipated for 2017.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Bogachev, investor of the project, and Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari Group.
The hotel will be comprised of 65 rooms and suites, including a rooftop terrace and luxury facilities such as the signature Bulgari restaurant and bar and a spa with a swimming pool. The hotel building is part of a full block development between Bolshaya Nikitskaya and Sredniy Kislovskiy, which will provide luxury residences and townhouses as well.

Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners in collaboration with Atrium, a Russian architectural bureau, will design the new hotel. Design plans include a mix of traditional and contemporary themes, and juxtapose new and conventional architecture through the conservative restoration and harmonization of variously dated facades, according to Marriott International.
