Rania Helal to
spearhead communications strategy at landmark airport hotel; brings
well-rounded market insight to role with extensive advertising, hospitality and
media industry experience
The award-winning Millennium Airport Hotel, member of Millennium &
Copthorne Hotels Middle East and Africa (MEA), has announced the appointment of
Rania Helal as new Marketing Manager for the hotel.
A journalism and mass
communications graduate with 15 years’ experience in the advertising industry
and broadcast media business development in her native Egypt, Helal relocated
to the UAE in 2012, joining Hyatt International Hotels in a key marketing
communications role.
Subsequent senior
marketing positions with other major international hotel brands in the region,
including Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts and Emaar Hospitality Group, allowed
her to capitalise on her natural skill-set and further develop both her commercial
and communications capabilities.

Fluent in Arabic
and English, Helal is an acknowledged brand positioning specialist and, as well
as handling day-to-day responsibility for the hotel’s marketing activity, will
oversee strategic community relations, advertising plans, sponsorship
programmes and CRM strategy development.
