Flybe spreads its wings with five new routes


Regional airline, Flybe has strengthened UK connectivity with an enhanced schedule and two additional European destinations.
Flybe’s winter schedule includes brand new services between Birmingham and Berlin Tegel (five-times weekly) and from East Midlands to Aberdeen (weekdays).

The airline’s daily services between Exeter and Newcastle also returns from October 26, together with two winter ski routes to Geneva from Cardiff and Inverness due to start on December 20.

Flybe’s chief commercial officer, Paul Simmons, said: “Our commitment to connectivity, for both business and leisure passengers across the UK regions and Europe, continues.

“[Berlin Tegel] is a key destination in Germany for both business and leisure travellers being a key transport hub, but also the commercial centre for a wide range of industrial sectors including world-leading companies in high tech and engineering.”

In total, Flybe’s 2014-15 winter programme features more than 100 routes offering 2,809 flights a week, 16 brand new routes and a further 11 that include returning seasonal routes or being extended for the first time through winter.
