'Seychelles Discovered' Roadshow in the UK

The 'Seychelles Discovered' Roadshow in UK took place on 28-31 October, reaching four cities namely Manchester, Reading, London and Bristol.

The beautiful islands of Seychelles were brought to an audience of UK travel agents and tour operators in a series of "Train and Dine" events. The 'Seychelles Discovered' Roadshow was organized by the Seychelles Tourism Board Office in the UK and it was supported by various Seychelles partners. The event in each of the four cities was attended by approximately 40 to 50 agents.

Information about The Seychelles Islands and its products were delivered to this select group of agents, via high tech presentations on a large screen format. This series was put together in 10-minute segments whereby each partner had the opportunity to create a visual and vocal presentation of their product and services to the audience.

The impact of this event was immense and offered much information as well as allowing the agents to familiarize themselves with the destination and the various products, with the opportunity for the partners to network during each interval between the various meal courses.

The Seychelles Tourism Board UK Office was represented by its manager Tinaz Wadia and by its Marketing Executives Maria Morel and Eloise Vidot.

The partners on the show were Cindy Vidot, Kofi Mable and Monika Allan from Air Seychelles & Etihad; Angelika Gerhold from Banyan Tree Seychelles; Ash Behari from The Hotel Coco de Mer and Black Parrot Suites; Bessie Etienne from Denis Island Private and Indian Ocean Lodge; Amanda Larue from Desroches Island; Devi Pentamah from Hilton Seychelles (Hilton Northolme, Hilton Silhouette island and their Double Tree Allamanda Resort ) and Jonathan King & Christine Shultze from Constance hotels (Ephelia Resort and Lemuria Resort and Golf).

This was the 8th event in the series of the 'Seychelles Discovered' Events with more such events planned in the future, whereby the Seychelles Tourism Board Office in UK and it's Seychelles partners will continue to train and to inform the agents on the various aspects of selling the Seychelles, and on recommending the destination to their respective clients.
